Technology: Prototyping tools
Keywords: Robo-Advisory, Digitization, Financial Services, Digital Service Design
Digital asset management is the latest development of digitization in the securities department of banks and FinTechs. Thereby, money is invested digitally and based on an algorithm which involves no human advisor. Advantages are cost efficiency, increased speed of investing and low investment amounts for mainstream investors. 30 students accepted the capstone challenge and developed 9 different robo-advisors using prototyping tools. The best teams then presented their results and ideas to a leading German private bank in Frankfurt. The presentations included amongst others a chat-based onboarding process, gamified elements of robo-advisors as well as a full click-dummy of the robo-advisor onboarding process.
Members of the DX Network have the chance to offer similar capstone projects based on their daily challenges.
